29th August // Friday - The day we've been waiting for finally here. Bangkok with the favourite girls.
After negotiation with the mum, she finally say YES to this. Its not easy to convince my mum but Alhamdulilah, kak wani helps me to talk to mum. Well because knowing mum, she can't debate with kak wani for long and also cause she would go speechless. so thank you kak wani. haha

Woke up, feeling so fresh and excited for this trip especially when you're going with "kaki gereks". It was my 2nd time going holiday with friends but this time further away. Since our flight was in the morning, so we decided to cab to airport because knowing that bus would be very packed since  its during peak period and us with the luggage? no no.
Wani took cab from her place first and fetched us (except for diyy) at our individual place.

The journey to airport was a smooth one. So once we reached airport, waited for Diy to come before checking in. So while waiting, as usual took some pictures. Pictures flooding our phone even before reaching Bkk. So once Diy reached, we proceed to check in our luggage and headed to have our breakfast over at KFC. Unlike us, Diy have her bf and friends to send her off. haha.

A mandatory picture before flying off.

It took about 2 hours to reach our destination. Alhamdulilah, flight was a smooth one with minimal turbulence. Once reached, claimed our luggages and booked taxi to the hotel and back to the airport on Monday. It cost us about 2000 baht for 5 person, to and forth. It was worth it thinking that its for 5 person. Actually it could be cheaper if we took public taxi but convenience purpose, i guess all is good. After settling transportation, we then headed to the hotel to put down our things before starting our "adventure". This was my 2nd time in Bangkok and it feels good to be back.

From airport to the hotel took about approx 40 minutes. And yes, we stayed in Bangkok 68. The hotel was so-so, service was disappointing, location was far off from the city area. But what i like about this hotel was the room. We've got 2 rooms connecting with each other. To add on, there's free WIFI. So after we've got our key to our room, check out our rooms, put down our stuff, informed love ones that we've reached safely, rest for awhile and off we go for adventure.

Started off by looking for any nearest train station. haha. We have no idea where to start because the hotel was quite isolated. We asked one of the person there where is the nearest train station. And baam, 15 minutes walk to the station. We're so happy when we found the station. haha. But after few times walking to the station, 15 minutes feels like 7 minutes walk. Well maybe because we're familiar with the path already.

Anyway, after we "found" the station, we headed to SIAM centre to hunt for food because we're hungry. And below was chicken rice + a large sprite which cost 105 baht = $4 which is impossible to get in Singapore. Chicken rice was the only one of the few food that was "edible". What i meant was, food with no pork in it.

After filling our stomach, we tried out desserts from MR JONES ORPHANAGE. Its located in Siam Centre too. Because heard from some that the cakes here are to die for. So we wanted to know whether its true or not so, we try it ourselves. and YES, the cakes (red velvet, kit kat cakes, orange flavour cake) that we've tried was sooo delicious. Thumbs up for that.

The orange cake. *.*

So after that we finally proceed to MBK where damages was done. On our way to MBK, there's flea market and came across this shop that sell tote bag and I am spoil for choice. Feels like buying them all but nah, it was just a starter. But there in MBK, i bought 3 bags for 199 baht = $7.90 each. (Mane nak dapat?) Only in BKK i turns into shopaholic. haha. Around 8pm (Bkk time), we felt kinda restless and tired, we decided to call it a day and continue the next day. whats for dinner? KFC take away back to hotel and we took cab back to the hotel.

 //End of day 1//

30th September // Saturday- Rise and shine. Woke up quite early and I am the first person to wake up. Maybe because i can't wait to shop! and for 2nd day, wani zimah and myself planned to wear the same tops. and that everybody, was taken before we stepped out from hotel.

Since breakfast was not included in our hotel cause we didn't book with breakfast so we have to find a place eat. Lucky for us that the hotel was near to macdonald. Hence, Macdonald it was. This was when me and wani fall in love with the ovaltine. I wish they have it in Singapore's Macdonald.

First off...... CHA TU CHAK! oh yes, it's shopping heaven. And our hotel was few stations away from cha tu cak.

Anyway, this is their token to take the train.

 I am lost of words because the apparels, accessories, bags was just sooooooooo cheap. You could get a normal chiffon top for as low as 100 baht = $4 . You could also get 5 pairs of socks for $4. And yes, I shop the most among the girls. haha. #whatsnew
I am willing to walk under the scorching hot sun for the sake of cheap stuff.

 and the mango sticky rice was to die for too! especially when you're already starving.

and told you, that was just half of the damaged done. haha Zimah can't stand how crazy i could get when im here. Because i would stop shop after shop and i would buy at least 1 item from each shop that i stop. About 2pm, as we've already covered almost every part of Cha tu cak, and also we're already half dead, we decided to go back to the hotel and put down all the things and rest.

Aini and wani have to help me carry some of my carrier because we took train back to the hotel since it was few station away. thanks girls! haha. once reached hotel, we put down our stuff and rest for few hours before heading out again to have our late lunch. We continue our "shopping" at some night market(?), i can't remember but we did some shopping and so we decided to take Tuk-tuk back to the hotel. 5 of us squeeze in one tuk-tuk with all our shopping bags. haha

        This was how we look like on the tuk tuk! haha
and we call it a day
 //End of day 2//

31st september // Sunday

We woke up later than the day before. Started our day by eating cereals and milk that we've bought the night before in our hotel room. haha.
2nd last day in Bkk so we decided to just go all out. Pit stop at Pratunam fashion mall. Its the next shopping heaven after cha tu chak.
Before that, came across this cafe in one of the shopping mall, Pancake cafe. The desserts looks delicious in the pictures. And indeed, it was! The pancake that me and wani ordered was so soft and super delicious.

This cost us less than $10. Good buy.

And after that, continue with our shopping spree! and yes, aini, the "tukang hasut" when it comes to shopping! haha

 Get to eat nutella banana crepe.

Despite feeling super lethargic after long day of shopping, theres still energy for video! haha
hence.. //End of day 3//

Indeed time flies when we're having so much fun! its the hardest goodbye because we wouldn't want to say bye yet to BKK. But life move on, back to reality. We  checked out at 12 noon and since our flight was at 4+pm, we decided to have our brunch first.

We headed to Macdonald to have our brunch for the last time. The size for large fries in BKK is double from the size for large fries in Singapore. Same goes for their drinks. And it was way cheaper than Singapore.

As our cab reach about 1pm, we quickly headed back to the hotel where the cab would be fetching us.

And with that, mark the end of our 4 days 3 nights in BKK! Ive found the best clan to go holiday! I had so much fun and there's never a day that bores me. It makes me forget about work back in Sg for a moment! Thank you girls for the amazing/memorable trip and to more trips with all of you. Love you alls.  xoxo
